A Visit to the College

It was a beautiful day today and Marisa and I took a drive so she could practice driving to her college. This is in front of the library, where she plans on spending some of her time. She loves books, and will have some time in between classes that she plans on spending time here to do studies and I am sure she will get some reading in too; while she is there.

The sign on the end of this walkway says, "Go Forth to Serve" which is something the school teaches each student.

The campus is really pretty and they have made it easy to get around.

The building above is where her first class is held.

This is a really nice new building they have there.

She starts on Wednesday, and has a meeting on Tuesday from 1:30 to 3 which is a Welcome session to a program that she was chosen to participate in. It is a student support service group; which by the email sounds like it will be a good benefit. It says she can possibly borrow textbooks, which would save us money; so we are praying that is something she will be able to do. So she plans on going and checking it out. She is nervous about going; but excited too.

Wow...your little girl is all grown up and about to start college. I'll be joining you in praying for Marisa, that she will settle in quickly, make some nice friends and enjoy her college experience on her journey to becoming a teacher. Great that she can still come home to you each night, as I know you will all be a great support to her along the way.

Can't wait to see you guys soon!

Love you lots, Julie xx
