Today was a sad day for all of us at our church. Our dear music minister, Pastor Dave; and his family are leaving us. Today was their last day with us and we had a farewell for them. It was a sad day, but a day of rejoicing of what the Lord has done through he and his family the last 12 years that he has been here. We will miss them greatly; but know that the Lord has called them to continue on in another place. He is getting to go back to his home Church in West Virginia. This will be wonderful for he and his family as they will be close to their family there. What a wonderful Music Pastor they are getting. They will do a great job there. We are thrilled for them, but saddened that we are loosing them. May the Lord richly bless you Pastor Dave and Lisa, as you start another chapter in your lives. I took photos for them on Monday, and this is one of them. We went this afternoon and helped many others from our church and them, to load them up, all their belongings, they will head out tomorrow morning. Our prayers are with them.
With all of this going on it has been a very busy weekend, and we have had a very busy week as well.
This week Marisa will be finishing up her 4H projects and next weekend she will enter them. I work Sat in the 4H barn arranging all the photo entries. There are many photo entries each year. I'm sure there will be a lot this year as well.
