Well we are back now from our mini - trip. We had a great time. This was a celebration for my mom's birthday and also my dad's which is in May. We got back around 4:30 today. We left on Tuesday around 3PM. It was a great time, and we made lots of great memories. Here is the birthday cookie we took with us; it was yummy!! We celebrated right after we went and ate supper and then we had our dessert back at the hotel. We had Steak -N- Shake for supper, then birthday cookie for dessert.
All the grand daughters had a great time celebrating with Mamaw. Everyone was so excited that our secret was kept until Easter and she didn't even have a clue. We all had a hard time keeping the secret, but we did it; we were so glad it worked. Wednesday morning we all got up and got ready and off we went to the Creation Museum. It was a great day and we all enjoyed it very much; what a great place to spend time with family. They have done a great job documenting Creation and the truths of God's word.
All the figures they have created look great. This is Adam in the garden of Eden. Everything is presented so very well. We all enjoyed it very much.
This morning we headed to the Newport Aquarium. We all had a good time there; but there was one problem it was extremely overcrowded; I mean extremely; so that did put a bit of a damper on things. It was hard to get to see things. There were thankfully times when it did get better and all in all we did have a good time there as well; we just wish it wouldn't have been so crowded; but this was spring break a lot of places, so that is what happens.

The jellyfish were really cool. I can't remember what the other things in the photo were, sea flowers, or something like that; but they were really cool too.
Well I have lots more photos, see slideshow link to the left. We had a nice week.

I'm pleased you are back safely, and that you all had such a wonderful time. What a shame about the over-crowding at the aquarium, but I know you would have made the best of being together anyway. The photos are great. I'm sure you learnt a lot too at the "creation" museum. Thanks for sharing! Luv u lots. xx
Hi Kimberly! Looks like you had a great time! Those are sea anemones. :) you asked about how to get a photo to show up in the comments... you need to get a gravatar. I think it's at http://www.gravatar.com
If that doesn't work, just do a google search.
Enjoy the wekend!
